Donald P. Farley

Donald P. Farley, 72 years of age, passed away on Tuesday, October 30, 2018, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Edgewood. He was the loving husband of Carol Farley (nee Forrer). Loving father of Stephanie Farley Dietz (Jim), and Valerie Farley Barckhoff (Greg). Loving grandfather of Avery, Alex, Turner, and Kaylee. Don was preceded in death by his parents Donald and Bertha Farley, and his brother Gary Farley died in the line of duty in the Vietnam War.  Don served as a major in the U.S. Army and as a school teacher and principal in Woodford County.  He was a dedicated sports fan, especially the Cincinnati Reds, and an avid reader of books on history and biographies.  Visitation will be Saturday from 1:00pm until 2:00pm at St. Pius X Church in Edgewood. A Catholic Blessing will take place at 2:00pm. Middendorf Funeral Home in Ft. Wright is assisting the family.
