Christine Drees, age 95, of Fort Mitchell, KY passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 20, 2018. She was a member of the Kolping Society, Blessed Sacrament Church and Fort Mitchell Senior Club; Christine also enjoyed playing Bingo and cards, and crocheting. She is survived by her children, Henry Drees (Patty), Christina Clifford (Mark) and Rose Drees Kluth (David); siblings, Wilhelm Huntelmann and Anne Vogel; grandchildren, Holly Arlinghaus (Nick), Joey Drees, Jordan Drees, Garri Hunt (Chris), Brent Read (Alexandra), Bryce Read, Jack Henry Kluth and Will Kluth; great-grandchildren, Brady, Avery and Mason Hunt; sister-in-law, Christa Krull (Wilhelm); numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Christine is preceded in death by her loving husband of 39 years, Ulrich Drees; her parents and 5 siblings. Visitation will be held at Middendorf Funeral Home (3312 Madison Pk. Fort Wright, KY 41017) on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 from 4:00 PM – 6:30 PM. Kolping prayer service will be held at 6:50 at Blessed Sacrament Church followed by Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 7:00 PM. Interment will be held the following day at St. Mary Cemetery at 10:00 AM. Memorial contributions are suggested to Hospice of the Bluegrass, 7388 Turfway Rd, Florence, KY 41042 and/or Parish Kitchen, 141 W Pike St, Covington, KY 41011 and/or Baptist Village Activities Fund, 2990 Riggs Rd, Erlanger, KY 41018.
